NYC Psychiatry is Hiring a Regional Medical Director Near New York, NY

Join our practice as a Regional Medical Director and play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of psychiatric care across our clinics in the New York region. As a licensed Psychiatrist in the state of New York, bring your expertise and passion for Psychiatry, with a special interest in Psychedelics, to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Excellence:

  • Provide close expert oversight, ensuring exceptional psychiatric care delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the highest and most innovative clinical standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulations and medical guidelines by all clinical staff.

Professional Development:

  • Design and implement cutting-edge training programs, protocols and procedures for staff.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, exchange and professional growth.

Medical Leadership:

  • Act as a medical authority, staying informed about emerging literature.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and implement internal protocols and guidelines for the highest clinical quality.

Supervision and Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance and regular, documented supervision, of treating NPs, RNs, and techs
  • Mentor and develop clinical leaders within the clinical staff, retaining talents and working to perfect individual skills through direct and group supervision.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee regional staff for efficient day-to-day operations and high standards of patient care.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure clinics operate in compliance, maintaining ethical and legal standards by working with regulatory agencies at all levels to understand how to improve our services and promote mental health care.
  • Monitor and assess quality of care, implementing corrective measures as needed.

Qualifications:

- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

(DO) degree.

- Licensed Psychiatrist in the state of New York.

- 5 or more years of clinical practice, with a strong background in supervision and leadership.

- Demonstrated interest or experience in Psychedelics will be considered a significant asset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
